In short. You can play without giving your name, email or phone number. The game keeps your progress on your phone; for online play, our server keeps a random identifier and the name and look you choose. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. We never sell any data. You can delete everything from within the game.
1. Who we are
Atlas Domination is a game developed by Lucas Spagnolo, an independent developer based in France, who is the controller of your data.
Contact: atlasdomination.game@gmail.com
2. What the game stores
On your phone
Your progress (Shards, collection, tokens, statistics), your settings (language, sounds) and a randomly generated identity key. This information stays on your device.
For online play
When you play online, our server keeps:
- a randomly generated player identifier and a fingerprint of your identity key (never the key itself);
- the name and look you choose in the game (avatar, frame, flag);
- your online matches, your rank and your ranking points.
If you link an account (optional)
If you link your Game Center (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android) account to find your progress on another device, the server keeps the player identifier that Apple or Google sends us and a backup of your progress. We never receive your email or password.
Your IP address
The server uses it while you are connected, to block abuse (too many connections from one address, mass creation of identities). It is not stored in our files. The atlasdomination.com website does not keep a visit log either.
Purchases
Payments go through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details: we only receive the purchase confirmation, so that we can give you what you bought.
Ads
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob: an ad you choose to watch to earn tokens, and a short ad between two matches. Premium removes them.
To show and measure these ads and to fight fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you allow it), your IP address, information about your device and your interactions with the ads. In the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game first asks for your consent to personalized ads; you can change your mind at any time in the game settings. The game contains no other analytics or tracking tool.
3. Why
- To run the game and online play (matches, rankings, backup): this is the service you use.
- To protect the game against cheating and abuse: our legitimate interest, and that of other players.
- Personalized ads: only with your consent, which you can withdraw.
- Purchases: to give you what you paid for and meet our legal obligations.
4. For how long
- Finished online matches are deleted from the server after 24 hours; lobbies that never started, after 6 hours.
- Your online identity, ranking and backup are kept until you delete them.
- The data on your phone disappears when you uninstall the game.
5. Deleting your data
In the game: Settings → My account → “Delete my account and data”. The server deletes your identity, the link to your Apple or Google account, your backup and your seats in lobbies; in a match already under way, your seat goes to the computer under the name “Player left”. Your progress is also erased from your phone.
You can also write to atlasdomination.game@gmail.com with your player name: we delete your data within 30 days.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, receive or delete your data, object to its use or withdraw your consent, by writing to atlasdomination.game@gmail.com. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
7. Where your data is
The game server is hosted in Europe by IONOS. Apple, Google and Google AdMob may process data outside the European Union, under their own privacy policies and the safeguards required by law.
8. Children
The game asks for no personal information. It is not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. A parent who believes their child has sent us such data can write to us to have it deleted.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes too. For an important change, we will let you know in the game.
